Walking in forest. I smell the moss. I know this feeling. The clothes sit on my body — but am not able to touch my body, let alone the fabric. In this moment, I feel very alone yet delighted. The trees, the birds, the ferns.

Delighted to process things on my own and make decisions. The impact of my decisions don’t affect any other human. Ah. The fresh mossy mountain air feels so good.

But I’m just here.

In that moment, a feeling of being in pure solitude hits me. Like I won’t be able to find another human to connect with. Like I have been asking to be alone for so long that the universe finally says — I hear you. I feel you. I will give you what you are asking for.

Poof. I give you the forest. All for yourself. Isn’t that what you wanted?

Dreams are a moment for us to tell a story, work through an emotion or a problem during the day that we haven’t hashed out. The dream is the work. Our brain is the computer mining to solve that cryptographic puzzle.

Once the puzzle is solved, what then?

So in this dream, is it really solitude I desire? Or is it my brain’s way of putting me through the emotional cycle to get an authentic answer out of me to the question of: “what do you really want”?

In that moment, I know the answer. I don’t need validation by any other soul.

Is it really alone time you need or is it to nudge the sleeping part of your soul? The one that has a few cobwebs and needs the truth to shine through.

Only you will know.

So, now.

The brain has solved the puzzle.
This dream is stored in the brain as a “block.”
One block connected to the next.
All to remember the past.
Info is not lost.

So what happens when you actually solve a puzzle and receive the answer? Will you act in alignment to the answer?
